Litmus Paper: Litmus paper is used to determine whether a solution is an acid or a base. Their are two types of litmus paper. One is red and the other one is Blue
Universal Indicator: A universal indicator is a solution made up of several compounds that changes the color of the liquid that it is placed into. The color that it changes to corresponds to a pH. Using the universal indicator will tell you the pH of the liquid it is poured into.
pH Strips: pH is essentially the same thing as the universal indicator but it is a strip instead of a liquid. It will also change colors according to the pH of the liquid that it is dipped into.
Phenolphthalein: Phenolphthalein is a chemical compound whose formula is C₂₀H₁₄O. It is used to determine whether a formula is basic, neutral or acid. Although it will have no color for both neutral and acidic solution.
